in november this year i was a part of a film noir photo project meant as a tribute to the wonderful early lauren bacall ... i felt honoured to have the chance to slip into this film noir character and to be able to work with these two adorable and talented ladies ...

Winterboots Ruin Everything ...

this is what i wore this morning to another wintery visit to a flea market ... modern coat: from a traditional turkish fashion store // vintage muff-bag: flea market or ebay // cardi: primark // top h&m // 50s kitten skirt: flea market // super warm late 70s winter boots: flea market // beret: probably from a flea market ...

this morning i decided to take my warm, warm, warm 70s wedge boots out for a stroll over a couple of wintery outdoor flea markets. since a sneaking cold is trying to overtake my body, i felt like getting dressed as warm as possible ... these boots aren't beauties by far and i knew that before i put them on  today ... but i was really shocked when i saw the pictures on the computer later. ok, they still go quite ok with the coat  ... aaaah, but they totally ruin my casual stripy-kitty-cozy-almost-sick-look (which isn't too exciting anyhow)!!!!
funny, that i found a nie pair of warm lined 40s-50s lace up booties on the flea market today ... but if the bitter berlin cold comes to town i will go back to these super warm 70s boots again. i prefer to look silly than to freeze.

what kind of footwear do you wear with your vintage looks, when it's bitter cold outside?!

Strawberry Cream Cake

this is what i wore to the cold flea market past sunday ... cardi: h&m // 50s woolen dress: ebay // vintage snake skin belt: thrifted // vintage boots: ebay // 60s bag: flea market // hat: h&m via flea market // 50s-60s gloves: flea market ...

this outfit reminds me on a choclate cake with strawberry cream ... it's always good to think about cake .... i'm very busy with just 'life' right now ... so there is not much time left to be be around in blogland  ... i hope, you don't mind.

for those who asked ... there will be post about the hairdressers magazines i bought on the last flea market ... don't expect too much! they are not as good as they look at the first sight.

Getrödelt, Gefunden, Gefreut ... Taschensonntag

english recap: hey, dear friends ... this is what i found on yesterday's flea market ... this time: mostly bags but also a 50s hat, a hairdressers magazine, rose hat pins and a lovely mid century brooch ... the 40s to 50s fold baset is one of my favourite finds today, i was searching for one the whole summer ...
don't worry, next post i will be back in full english again!
