last saturday the bf and i got our hands on 5 oooooooold suitcases from the 20s up to the 50s. we decided that we can't keep them all, because we start to feel like horters in our tiny flat ... 2 of them turned into the new table in the living room ... propably another 2 will get sold on ebay ... ant the 5th suitcase has to go into the storage ...

propably these are the last warm days this year because of that i really try to wear my big skirts as much as i can ... i really hate the challenge in winter time to find the right boots for this kind of skirts. especially this year i'm afraid of the cold, because i'm still not able to wear heels ... and i still don't know what to wear with my wide and flared skirts ...

yesterday i received a lovely pair of lace up boots (40s style, 30€) i won on ebay ... ha, before that on the same day i found a quite similar pair on the flea market just for a sixth of the price ... now i have two dark brown coloured lace up boots sitting in my closet ...  .

New Girl On The Blog

welcome to the new girl on the header ... isn't she lovely?

i found her this morning at the flea market and fell in love with her immediately. after bargaining with the seller i got her for 8 €  ... and i didn't knew if she is a real old collectable 'pony tail' barbie (she has a tattoo on her little milk white neck: 1958) - or wether she is just a retro rockabilly girl. when we came home the bf ran to the computer (ebay, barbie on facebook) to check out if she is a collectible ... and for about and hour we thought we got our hands on the most collectable barbie ever, til we undressed her and found a sad mark on her butt:  Mattel 1958, 2004 China.

 ... ok, she is just another bloggerette who loves the 50s and i adore her.
