Non-Sleeve Dress ...

... still in berlin ... this is what i wore today ... my fav vintage square dance dress: ebay // belt: came with a non-vintage skirt //  sandals: flea market at markthalle, berlin (2 €) // straw bag: flea market ..

as some of you may remember this dress had got a big bad rip in the right sleeve last summer ...(last winter) i had to bring to the tailor and it felt like bringing it to the hospital for a big surgery ... but the tailor did a good job fixing it and i was able to wear it after 'the surgery' ... but then it happened again  ... suddenly there was another huge rip next to the replaced part in the sleeve. this time the tailor told my, that the fabric of the sleeves is far too brittle to fix it again. so the only chance to save my dress was to remove the sleeves. it took me months to do it ... but finally some weeks ago, i cut them off.  

what do you think about my new old dress ?

yesterday we went to the flea market. we've been quite lucky - even when it started raining - we found some nice pieces at neukölln's flowmarkt (later we went to flohmarkt at markthalle kreuzberg). to be true, i felt a little bit shocked about the prices. things like dresses and skirts are so expensive here in berlin - especially on flea markets ... markets at the countryside are much cheaper! so i decided to buy more bags and less dresses ... hahahaha.
