Inspiration From The Past // Sears 1952 // Springy Dresses






 pictures taken from 'everyday fashion from the fifties - as pictured in sears catalogs'
it's march and i feel the spring coming ... so i decided to share some beautiful spring inspired dresses from the sears cataloge of 1952. isn't the dress and coat ensemble to die for? the plaid nylon dress i would buy right away ... and i would love to try on the black and white dotted dress with the cute collar and the fun pockets on the skirt ... and the lace dress ...

    Müsste ich mich entscheiden, dann würde ich wohl das mit dem Cape wählen! Wundervoll! :)

    The 1950s are really my thing but I like the pom pom trim on the sleeves of that dress - no surprise there! x

    The capelet/skirt/ blouse with side bow is heavenly! definitely my favourite, but all of these beautiful outfits would be welcome in my wardrobe (I'm greedy!) x x x have a lovely weekend x x x

    Splendidly lovely dresses! I have a great 1980s does 1950s pink and white polka dot dress that is strikingly similar to middle frock in the first image (the dots are larger though).

    Fabulous! I think I would order the one on the right in the third pic... or maybe the one in the fourth. Funny how some of these look very similar to some modern dress designs I've seen just lately.
