I found this little blazer a couple of months ago at a local thrift shop. I notices the amazing quality and wonderfil silky soft fabrics it is made of ... I didn't recognized that it it a actual designer piece. As it's not true vintage it does a perfect job worn with mid century styles. I wore it a lot the last weeks. Everytime I put it on I have to think about Kermit the Frog ... Sometimes it's not so bad to be green.
Splendid green! I just love the details of your frock and your hair is very becoming! Please excuse my shower of compliments, I don't mean to flatter you but I am in earnest!

Ooohh, it's fabulous! I love a good vintage appropriate piece like this. They're such a great way to expand our wardrobes, but which we don't necessarily have to worry about (damaging) to the same degree that we do true vintage.
AntwortenLöschenWonderful outfit, my dear!

Did you know that the original Kermit the frog puppet was made from Jim Hensons mothers coat? They have it on display at the Seattle Scinece Fiction museum, as part of the special Jim Henson exhibit. Up close, you can tell that, 'yep, that's definitely an old coat with some ping pong balls glued to it.'
