What I wore last Friday for my first stroll out after a week in bed with fever ... early 50s blazer: flea market // top: h&m // 40s-50s skirt: Made in Berlin Shop // vintage belt: came with a skirt // 90s boots: a vintage shop in Berlin-Kreuzberg // 50s-60s leapard faux fur purse: Mankii Vintage // 50s hat: thrifted // birds family sweater safer pin: flea market
Some of you might know, that I like to call this skirt 'the toad'. I can't help it, when I look at this skirt I have to think of the skin of a slimy huge toad. ...and what was I thinking to pair my leopard purse with the toad?! Strange mix but it works ...

This ensemble is brilliant and you've got me yearning for that exhilarating olive!
AntwortenLöschenWhat a lovely look. Great skirt even if it is "toady".
AntwortenLöschenAnother vintage lover? I am happy that I am not alone. Beautiful skirt - I like the color and pattern. o)

What a fabulous outfit! I love "The toad!" LOL! My husband has funny names for some of my skirts and dresses. I have the "Good n Plenty" dress, which is the color scheme of good n plenty candies and "the holodeck" dress which looks exactly like the holodeck in star trek the next generation! I love those boots too! I have some similar from the 70s but in brown. I really need to hunt down a black pair before next winter
AntwortenLöschenGREAT mix, love this look!! :)
AntwortenLöschenYour leopard bag DOES look great with the toad. And topped off with your 50's chapeau, you look fabulous. Happy to hear you're feeling better and thank you for sharing with Hat Attack!
AntwortenLöschenYou are so womanly. Your outfit feels like a stylish pin-up girl.
