The Unloved Skirt

40s coat: flea market // top: H&M // 50s skirt: Made In Berlin Store // 40s-50s purse: eBay // shoes: Deichmann ...

I like this skirt, actually I love it. It is interesting to see that everytime I wear this skirt and I post a picture of it here on the blog or on IG, it get's just a few likes. Probably it's so unloved because it is almost impossible to take a proper photo of it ...

  1. I feel like the pieces that are the most useful in our real lives aren't always the ones that people on IG go crazy for. I see why you like it, though - so many pretty colors to pull out in your accessories, but neutral enough to go with almost anything. Very cute! Loving the had collection in the background too.

I personally love a black background floral -- so useful. If you ever decide to sell that or your violin/cello print skirt, let me know! :)
    All the best,
    Heather.

  3. It looks terrific to me! Very sweet and feminine. The colours are also rather on par with Pantone's two picks for this year. As always, you've styled this ensemble marvelously and look as pretty as a picture in it, sweet lady.

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica

  4. When you say "unloved" it always makes me think of my own little vintage collection - I try not to have too many pieces, because I want to make sure that everything gets worn several times a season, so that none of my dresses will be sad and lonely in my closet. It makes me think of that Ikea commercial; "you feel bad for this lamp? That is because you are crazy."
