when i was a kid people told me yellow wouldn't suit me ...  because of my yellow-ish skin and my blond hair ... for years i never wore yellow ... i suppose those two brand new yellow pieces look quite good on my yellow-ish skin. hehehehe.

today i want to say thank you to the man who invented hairspray (of course it was a man). i made this pin-curl hairdo on friday evening. after a long night out i felt so tiered that i didn't undo the curls. hahahaha, on saturday the pin-curls looked still good and i could go out with them again ... strong hairspray makes time-consuming haidressing worth it. THANKS, Mr. Hairypray-Inventor.

when i took the pictures of this dress from the early 60s, suddenly i remembered this 60s bag (photo: bottom). actually it was hidden in a bag filled with sorted pieces i want to sell on next sunday's fashion flea market - Kleider machen Beute ... i didn't wore this bag for years even though i like it pretty much. keep it or give it a go?!

on saturday my good friend M. took me to a rock'n'roll party in the countryside ... two nice bands  (mischiefs and the railbones) were playing and all the ladies there were dresses up so fabulously and i adored their lovely hairdos (perfect pin curls, victory rolls ... wow). i can't believe that i have to go to a small town in the countryside to find the most fantastic rock'n'roll party around .... can't wait to go there again.


sadly it was raining on saturday morning. so i didn't started into this years flea market season this weekend ...
