Shoes & Corcovado

Maybe you think, shopping in Brasil must be quite cheap. But it isn't in Rio de Janeiro... The only chance to get your fingers on affordable leather- or fabricbags, flimsy and colourful dresses, shirts and different kind of jewelery is the so-called 'hippy market'.

This time I can call myself a 'lucky girl', because everything in the shops were on sale!! I bought 4 pairs of sandals... several dresses... and tons of havaianas...

The fotos of the sandals were taken from the 'varanda' of my boyfriends fathers flat in Ipanema. In the background you see the famous 'Corcovado'.

Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of my new silver platforms ( I got them for only 10 €...). You will see them soon in german summer. Hopefully!!!

Bridal Shoes... In The Sand...

Just one year ago my boyfriend, his brother, my best friend and I went to holidays in Brasil... My best friend fell in love with my boyfriend's brother... One year later we got an invitation to Rio for a german/brasilian wedding... The ceremony took place at a beautiful beach near Rio city. For one part of the ceremony the bridal couple and all their guests had to take off their highheels and shoes. They slipped into a pair of havaianas and went into the sand of the beach... The foto above shows the lovely bridal D&G-Heels left in the sand...

The gorgeous weddingdress was made by elisabonifer. My airy silk dress is from ebay... Vintage Bruuns Bazar. At the party in the evening I wore some golden kittenheel flipflops - not the havaianas you see on the picture .

This foto was taken before we went to the beach... I don't have a better one by now, because I had too much to do during the ceremony. So I couldn't take some more pictures.

Posting Again.... Correio

Seit heute Mittag bin ich aus dem heißen uns überaus sonnigen Rio de Janeiro zurück. Da mein Schlafrhythmus nach dem Nachtflug nun völlig im Eimer ist, werde ich heute noch meine Fotos sortieren und eine kleine Auswahl für die morgige Post vorbereiten.

Das Bild oben zeigt einen schönen alten Briefkasten den ich auf der kleinen romantischen Insel Paquèta vorgefunden habe....

Ja, ich... wieder bei Zara in der Umkleide... habe aber nichts gekauft... immer noch keine kleine schwarze Jacke.... Aber auch as Streifenkleid von gestern passt in einer Nummer größer immer noch nicht gut genug. Dafür hatte ich aber schon den neuen Rock und meine letzte Ebay-Errungenschaft eine Leder/Lack-Flickentasche im Einsatz.

Don't Go Shopping Before Holidays Starts...

Am Freitag schaute ich nochmal bei Zara vorbei, da ich noch ein kleines dünnes Jäckchen für die Reise suchte. Nein, ein kleines dünnes Jäckchen war das Einzige mit dem ich nicht in der Umkleidekabine landete.... Ein wunderbarer blau türkisener Rock im Waschseidenlook, ein lässiger Blazer und dieses wunderbare Streifenkleid mußten unbdingt ausprobiert werden. Wer geht schon vom Urlaub shoppen... das macht man nicht!

Der Blazer war mir zu teuer, das gestreifte Kleid ist mir leider (oder glücklicherweise, denn somit mußte ich es nicht kaufen...) über den Hintern zu eng... An dem Rock gab es nichts auszusetzen und deswegen habe ich ihn gekauft... und lieb gewonnen.

The blazer was too high in price, the stripy dress was too close around my backside (lucky me - because of that i hadn't to spent a lot of money for it)... But the skirt is very lovely and I had to buy it.//
