Sorry for not posting during the last days.... but work ate up an enormous portion of my time. Yesterday some friends and I went to the gig of the amazing The Ting Tings. It was big fun - and a nice guerdon after conclueding work.

For the gig I was wearing my old t-shirt of The Cure and my beloved cowboyboots... I changed this outfit just a little for today...as you can see in the pictures.

Best Dress-ed History: Stylebytes

Last april stylebytes dissapeared from the fashion-blogging scene... It was a big shock and nearly every fashionblogger was talking about ... I don't like wildcatting about '...why Agathe stopped...' or something like that.

I just like to remember Agathes awesome looks, her creative photo streams, the DIY- projects, the fashionshow reports and her gorgeous vintage finds.

Even though there aren't any new posts I still visit her blog once in a while. Her edgy and gourgeous style is still inspiring and 'so now'.

I miss it.

The black platforms are a quite good alternative for the green ones, which I had to give away. They are big and comfy enough to make my duck-feet happy - not my purse! I never paid so much money for sandals...

I Hate My Feet....

A few months ago I discovered this genuine seventies cork platforms on ebay. I was so happy to be the girl who got her fingers on them... I just couldn't await to open the box... to slip inside them and dance towards summer while wearing this wonderful sandals...

But they doesn't fit right!!!! The shoes are far too slender ... and my feet aren't slim or tiny at all. You can't see this on this pictures - in fact you don't want to see my feet swelling out of this shoes. Hhhhrrrrg. I hate my waddle-paddle feet.... With a heavy heart I gave the platforms to my favourite secondhand shop today. I hope the new owner will give them a nice home and slinky petite feet.

Fleamarket

On sunday morning I opend up this summers fleamarket-season. Luck was on my side and I found some broochs, a necklace with hearts, a lovely 'heavy metal'-bracelet, two crazy belts, cute wallets, a leatherbag (I don't need another leatherbag actually), a summerlike 'basket' bag and - as you can see on the fotos - an old picture frame...

Needless to say some nice clothes found a new home in my wardrobe too: a flowered skirt, two blouses and an eighties blazer with short arms. The blazer is too big shouldred, so I have to alter it.. I hope my plan for sewing will work!!!

I decided to wear my lovely silverflats for the premiere at the theater... They're comfy and pretty fancy at the same time. You don't have to wear heels on an event like theater or something, when you own shoes like that. More often than not I don't feel very dressy wearing flats. Normally they make me feel short. But these silver ones don't make me feel waddling like a duck.

Maybe you've seen me wearing a ruffeled blue dress some weeks ago. I bought the blue one first and fell in love with it madly. So I had to decide to purchase a second one... I'm quite happy that I didn't bough the black one. I like the turquoise very much.

This week spring had started! The sun was shining nearly everyday and every minute... the temprature went up to 20°... and the birds were singing some springtime-lovesongs...

In this pictures I don't look like feeling some happy springtime mood.... because I had just a few minutes to shoot this fotos and shortly after getting dressed for the evening... I went to an premiere at the local theater. Two friends of mine (set/costume-design and sound/music) had contributed the show.
