Best Dress-ed: Queen Of Colours

yesterday i was looking for some new blogs ... and i stepped about iman's blog:  mishaps and miracles. her style is so versatile, colourful and inspiring. unique vintage pieces meet brightly-coloured kimonos or design coats made from ties...  who wants to talk about colour blocking - her style is more than mixing colours, more than playing around with different patterns and materials... it's perfect! this is fashion at it's best.

i was so enthused about Iman's style that i wasn't even able to pick just a few pictures out to post in this feature. my inspiration folder is filled with outfits of her ... after an hour of being awfully undetermined i chose these. visit her blog for plethora of amazing outfits and gorgeous shots by day and night.

i'm totally in love with her style.

DIY: Was Nicht Passt Wird Passend Gemacht

this could be my favourite dress for these cold cold days ... vintage dress: from my best friend's granny, modified // belt: scarf worn as a belt // boots: buffalo, modified // vintage bag/clutch: thrifted // necklace & pendant: flea market

the first time i wore this dress i liked it - but something wasn't working... it's collar made me look like a little girl at halloween, dressed up like a snow flake or an iceberg. also i wasn't able to wear a necklace or a scarf with this collar. when i came back home from work i suddenly decided to remove it. ... i love this dress that way. it looks very simple now but i m able to combine it with a lot of different scarfs. and you really need to wear a scarf these freezing days.

those buffalo boots were so expensive but i thougth these were so perfect... perfect?! not perfect. i knew they could be perfect without buckles. i defenitly hate buckles on boots anyway... when i removed them with edged sciccors i was in a cold sweat about ruin them... luckily everything went right. and now they're absolutly perfect.

as some of you dear readers might know, that i'm a maniac for leopard prints for about half of my life. when i was 15 years old it was quite hard to get my hands on only one item with leopard print... my best friend and i spent a lot of time on flea markets and vintage stores to find a jacket, a skirt or even a bag with this wild kitty look.

nowadays nearly everybody likes to wear animal print and - as we all know - we can get it everywhere, in nearly every high street shop.

i felt a little bit bored about it, when leopard-ladys started to walk around everywhere...

but when i saw this amazing fotos of these gorgeous looking bloggerettes, i found back to my old love. they style the leopard patterns so unique and cool.

i think you'll see me wearing more and new spots next time. thanks for the inspiration, girls!

Best Dress-ed: The Dark Side Of Fashion

Black Luna Vintage is one of the top of modepass-girls. Her blog belongs to my fave fashion reads.

The style of Black Luna Vintage is very different to other fashionblogs ... It's kind of black ... and that's why I love it. Hehehe...

Her mostly darkish looks doesn't seem to base on some ordenary gothic style, it seems to be an self-contained creation of dark style. She's wearing mainly unique vintage pieces fitted up with delicate details and eye-catching cuts made of velvet , silky chiffon or leather. Those thriftshop-treasures get combined with bold platfom wedges by Stella Mc Cartney or Givenchy. And - if her outfit isn't only black, the beautiful gloomy fotos will darken it.

She's using her fine sense of fashion not only for herself, because she's having a shop on ebay filled with amazing pieces from the late 70s to the early 90s. Sometimes you find one of you favourite Black Luna Vintage outfit-pieces in the shop....

I'm still waiting to get my hands on the studded denim dress you can see in the picture above...

Best Dress-ed: The Queens Of Pattern-Mixing

The three girls from beckerman bite plate are the most exciting mixers of patterns, I've could found in the worldwidefashionweb.

Their are pairing everything you might think of - or even not. The outfits are boldly amazing, stunning, gorgeous!!! Big checks hit off with florals... tiny dots fall in love with flashy ethnic 80s prints... everything is possible and every combination works fabulous in a edgy way.

I shoudn't talk only about patterns because the girls' mixing of colours, fabriques and fashion decades are highly impressing, too.

If you are going to visit the blog of the beckerman's sisters you should also pay a visit to their own designs. I'd be very happy, if I could get their beautiful clothes somewhere in germany... because I fell in love with the black blouse with the white dots Samantha is wearing on the picture at the top and the check dress Cillianne is wearing at the bottom... The silk scarf from this years summer collection with the piano look is beautiful, too..

These girls are very much talented!

I think, I don't need to crown the queens of mixing (not only) patterns, because Samantha is already wearing a light purple one - as you can see on the first picture.

The blog 'what katie wore' means everyday a new impressing outfit.

One day she gets pictured by her boyfriend (the blog is his projekt not hers!!!) wearing colourful 80s pants combined with strong patterned jackets and crazy coloured booties... next time she has to take her foto by her own wearing decent grey and nude vintage items paired with lovely designerbags and big shiny jewelery.
