Bollywood vs. Heavy Metal

 

i've been known for wearing chic skirts and classy dresses. but in my little free time i love to wear my beloved band tee's ...  knotted motörhead tee: flea market // denim shorts: zara //  everyday belt: thrifted // sandals: h&m // straw bag: flea market ...

... but i don't just like to listen to rock music ... i do love bollywood (and oriental) music aswell. today i found these amazing peacock feather necklace and earrings at the local oxfam charity store. it made me wanna bollywod dance!  ... dress: hippy market,  rio de janeiro // bracelet: flea market // vintage peacock jewelery: thrifted

Back home with filled bags after sunday's fleamarket... blazer: fleamarket and altered // tee: bought it at a festival market and altered it // pants: 7 for all mankind // shoes: blue velvet // black cotton bag: american apparell // cd bag: saalbau flea market frankfurt

Past sunday a friend and I went to Saalbau Bornheim fleamarket again... This time I found four gorgeous belts, two bags, some nice jewelery and a pair of beautiful darkblue wedges (back home I had to notice, they're slightly too small ...)

I really love this fleamarket. It's big fun listening to all the (old) ladies talk while selling their lovely old treasures.

I think, I gonna go there again in april.

Jewelery Fishing

On saturday me and my best friend went to a a fleamarket in a suburb of my hometown. Actually I was looking for some 80s rollerskates but I couldn't find only one pair!!!!

Instead of buying blades, I succumbed to the love of fishing for some vintage accessoires. I got some nice necklaces and two leather bags ...

My favourite find is the fish necklace. It's wonderfully strange. Good catch!

The Ring...

Vor Kurzem habe ich in meinem Lieblings-Vintage-Laden diesen riesigen Ring gefunden. Normalerweise trage ich fast nur Ringe aus meiner Familie - oder zumindest nicht so klobige unecht wirkende Teile.... Aber dieser Ring ist einfach so unglaublich riesig, pompös, dekadent und dadurch soo lustig, dass ich einfach nicht um ihn herum kam.

Ich liebe dieses wahnsinnige Ding!!!!

//Last time I found this giant ring at my favourite Vintageshop. Normally I just wear rings I got as a hand-me-down from my family - or at lest rings that doesn't look that clumsy or fake. ...But this one is amazingly enormous, pompous, decadent and funny. I simply had to buy it.
