I spent another busy, busy, busy week at work ... on sunday a big benefit gala took place and my co-workers and i worked 7 days in row again - the event was very successful.  hopefully i will get back into the normal groove of things very soon ... and i will be back commenting on your blogs more regularly  ...

berlin thrift finds .... pink and red dresses from humana store, creme coloured dress from trash-schick (friedrichshain, wülischstr. 31) // pin up pictures, not thrifted // denim shorts from colours-kleidermarkt store in kreuzberg, bergmannstr.) // vintage boots from jumbo second hand (kreuzberg, wiener str. 63) ... not pictured: a black velvet skirt (has to get shortened) and a light black maxi skirt from humana too ...

finally i'm back from berlin ... my friends and i spent an amazing time there with loads of rock n roll music, beers, delicious (indian) food, cocktails, less sleep and thirft shopping! this city is far too great not to think about moving there ... but there's one reason to stay in a provincial city: thrift shopping!!! vintage and thrift stores are so expensive in berlin. even in charity shops like humana you have to spend much more money on the same things than in smaller cities. okokok,  you're right - the assortment of goods is so huge in berlin ... i haven't seen so much colourful dresses, skirts, tops and jackets from different decades in only one store for such a long time.

clearing out my closet went quite well on monday... the owner of the vintage store liked my pieces very much and took nearly everything i wanted to sell. i got 100€ ... i would have earned the same money by selling this clothes on the fashion flea market.

later on i went a little thrift shopping ... hahaha ... clearing out - buying new stuff...haha... i know this isn't very wise. but i'm really happy with the finds. i got an amazing romantic white cotton and lace maxi dress (very hippie-esque) and a very bright chanel like blazer. i just paid less than 10 € for both. i show them next time...

Shopping, Champagne, Sun & Fun

hi there! i had a very busy but fabulous weekend!

on sunday our fashion flea market kleider machen beute took place at bessunger knabenschule in darmstadt. the weather was perfectly warm and sunny, the music made our feet move, the self made muffins and cakes were sold out far too fast (sorry) ... colourful clothes, accessoiries and jewellery of all kinds changed hands, full racks turned empty and the girls shopping bags got full as a tick.

some days ago i found this dress at a local charity shop. when it caught my eyes first i thought, it was an original vintage dress. but then i noticed the label ... this dress is made out of original fabrics from vintage garments... the idea isn't new anyway but i love these words : ' our main goal is to bring old materials back to life.'

i have to check out the punkt online shop.
