Living In A Colourful Box

... just 10 days left ... then i have to find a new place to take outfit pictures ... blouse: primark // shorts: thrifted // vintage belt: flea market // vintage sandals: thrifted // bag: flea market / bangles: flea market ... surprise, wear shorts! when you do all the packing, taking apart my closet and crawling on the floor for collecting screws, it's better to wear pants/shorts than a skirt. most of my dresses are already packed anyhow...

my dresses and skirts i take with me to berlin sit already in a clothes-box. those dresses that won't come with me till we have found our own place, are sitting in the other box. ... all the other clothes (that aren't dresses) sit in normal boxes ... boxes, boxes. boxes ... boxes.

Carry Me Home

... the past few weeks, especially the days after i returned back home from the US, i was more than lucky to find some amazing vintage bags ... top to bottom: black and white synthetic wicker bag from the early 60s, made in hong kong: flea market // floral tapestry bag: found at the antique mall in puyallap washington state // 50s bag with bamboo handle: vintage yard sale // early 50s wicker bag with metal handle: thrift store around the corner // midnight blue late 50s-early 60s bag: thrifted ... same shop as the wicker bag. ... for all bags together i spent almost 28€.

actually i was a little sad that i didn't got my hands on one of the amazing 40s-50s-early 60s wicker bags i saw in the states. everytime i fell in love with a bag i was so shocked about the high range that i didn't got them (and every time i decided, i not to care about the money but wanting the bag, i wasn't able to go back to the shop ... sniff, goodbye cute 50s strawberry bag) ... the most affordable priced bag next to the tapestry bag was 24 dollars. so i did quite good with my mostly german vintage finds.

Another Flea Market - Another Suitcase

this is what i wore to the flea market this morning ... original 50s blouse: vintage backyard sale // vintage skirt: thifted in the US // vintage belt: flea market // petticoat: ebay // straw bag: flea market // wedges: c&a ... and the blue new old suitcase i scored today.

today i felt quite lucky when i found 3 new vintage suitcases on the flea market. they are perfect to store my old hats or bags until they move to our new home ... this is the last month we spent in this town.

Vintage Seattle

yesterday we spent a another day in seattle and i was lucky to meet one of my fav vintage bloggers, sara from lilies and remains, at her work place. it's so awesome to meet other vintage fashion enthusiasts in person, that are actually living on the other side of the world . ...  and she is absolutely great!
as some of you might know, sara works at lucky dry goods vintage.  while chatting with her i had the chance to look through all the beautiful dresses and skirts at the shop and to play a little dress up with my fav finds. i was lucky to find my new favourite 50s dress there. of course it went home with me. you can see a little sneak peak of it at sara's instagram.
