Hurt

this is what happens to vintage pieces sometimes ... they get old and weak ... they get hurt ... vintage dress: ebay // denim jacket: thrifted // belt: flea market // shoes: flea market //  straw bag: flea market // bracelets: flea market ...

this dress is one of my all time favourites. i'm broken-hearted! this sleeve has to be fixed somehow.  i don't want to loose my beloved dress, because of that nasty rip... but the fabric has got quite weak around it.  help! any ideas?!

Oh no! It's so pretty on you, too.
Do you know that iron-on fabric for hemming clothes? It's called Wonder-web. You could try that. I think you get it on eBay. xxx

=( It's so sad your dress has a rip, it's so terrible. Perhaps you can make it sleeveless or make the sleeves shorter... I hope you can get it fixed!
You look so cute in your super sweet dress it's so pretty!

What about trying to remake it? Maybe turn it into a sleeveless sundress? It's a great dress, I can see why you'd want to save it!

I hope you can fix it because that dress is so pretty on you. I love your whole look. The dress looks so nice with the denim jacket and the big flower pin. I'm a fan of straw bags and the red shoes pop.

So sad you got a rip. That happened to one of my favorite dresses too. I tried to discreetly sew the rip. But fusible web seems like a good idea.

Oh my gosh, that dress is GORGEOUS and I love that you wore it with red shoes! Hmm, maybe a tailor can sew a patch on the inside of the fabric and it wouldn't be too noticeable?

Oh !! Great look!! I love dress!

Wow! Das Kleid ist ein Traum!

Now this I ADORE! The flower, the stripes, the jean. I would use a patch from the inside, easy peasy.
