this cotton 40s dress i found some weeks ago in a charity shop in the town i live ... it's so comfy and soft and cute and lovely ... but it's almost worn to pieces ... i really don't know how this cute little treasure will survive washing ... i already fixed so many seams and tried to fix holes as softly as i can ... (and the old lady that kept my fave dry cleaner running is retired now. to me she was the only person in town that knew how to treat 50 year old dresses kindly).

a couple of weeks ago i found some awesome sewing and knitting magazines from the late 50s. most of them have still the patterns and tutorials ... i'd wish i could sew and knit.

Cold = Shorts

i don't like to wear shorts shorts without tights ... without them i feel kind of naked. every year it starts to get a little colder my so-called 'short season' begins.

yesterday i actually wanted to free my winter boots and box all the sandals and summery flats ... but i was quite shocked when i found out that most of my beloved boots have heels, even small heels ... because of my hurt foot i'm still not able to wear more than 3 cm heels. i'm quite good in walking right now but i feel most safe and comftable with tiny heels or flats ...  it feels like 'wearing flats' will be an everlasting challenge to me ... hopefully not - i love my collection of my heeled vintage boots.

last saturday the bf and i got our hands on 5 oooooooold suitcases from the 20s up to the 50s. we decided that we can't keep them all, because we start to feel like horters in our tiny flat ... 2 of them turned into the new table in the living room ... propably another 2 will get sold on ebay ... ant the 5th suitcase has to go into the storage ...
