this is what i wore on the way to work ... cape and hat ... 50s fake fur cape: flea market // mexx knit top: thrifted // 50s skirt: made in berlin store // belt: mango // shoes: clarks // early 50s purse: ebay // 50s hat: ebay ...
the past days i play around with work appropriate hairdos i can wear with hats ... so i can make my way to work and back more fashionable and fun. sadly i found out again, that i mostly own just black hats ... i need some more colours on my head!
( i heard a nirvana song in my head, when i wrote the words of the header ... how is this song called originally?)

I bloody love the cape! Nothin' better than fur!
The title of the Nirvana song is not one that I can type at work, but that's pretty funny. :P It's the first day here that really feels like fall, so I had to pull one of my capes out of the closet too. Love the outfit, you pull things together so well with the accessories. I hear you about finding more colorful hats, though - it's so easy to default to black accessories.
You look so pretty! I love the cape and hat you're wearing here!

That cape is beautiful. Can't understand why nobody is wearing them anymore, for this time of the year it is such a great garment.

ja, ich wohne in berlin und schreibe auf englisch, da die meisten leser nicht deutsch sprechen ... da ist man doch höflich. ;)
aber hier in berlin redet eh kaum noch einer deutsch, auch nicht mein ehemann. :)
My heart! I adore capes! gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! x xx
Very, very charming, sophisticated look. I'm a die hard fan of capes of all lengths.
