gggrrrrr, i lost three outfits (just the fotos of them) because my sd memory card broke... i can't believe it. ... sorry, no outfit post today!

Lack Of Posts

I'm very sorry for the lack of posts.

A heart breaking trouble at work was killing all my time during the last days. If this wasn't enough, I got a bad cold and fever...

Now - writing a small post - is the first time I left the bed since thurstday. I still feel quite limp and my head is still buzzing.

But this weekend I hope I will find enough energy to present some outfits from the days before the worry ate up all my fashion inspiration.

But now I have to crawl back into my bed... sorry!

Posting Again.... Correio

Seit heute Mittag bin ich aus dem heißen uns überaus sonnigen Rio de Janeiro zurück. Da mein Schlafrhythmus nach dem Nachtflug nun völlig im Eimer ist, werde ich heute noch meine Fotos sortieren und eine kleine Auswahl für die morgige Post vorbereiten.

Das Bild oben zeigt einen schönen alten Briefkasten den ich auf der kleinen romantischen Insel Paquèta vorgefunden habe....

Frozen Pond

Ich weiß, es ist schrecklich langweilig, wenn man andauernd über das Wetter redet. Doch für mitteldeutsche Verhältnisse sind der langanhaltende Schnee und die extreme Kälte etwas Besonderes.

Um der Sache etwas Gutes abzugewinnen habe ich heute einen kleinen Spaziergang durch den Park um die Ecke gemacht. Der Ententeich dort ist zugefroren. Kinder rutschen freudig quiekend auf der dicken Eisschicht herum. Dagegen versuche die Enten schliddernd im Watschelgang ihr Gleichgewicht zuhalten.

Zwischen Enten und Kindern traute ich mich auch aufs Eis. (Komisch das niemand auf den Fotos zusehen ist? Kein Kind und keine Ente...) Hier entstand das lustige strechy Schattenbild von mir.

Sunday Ends Up In Snow

Seit Sonntagnacht ist alles schneeweiß eingeschneit... Das Foto zeigt das Schneegestöber von meinem Schlafzimmerfenster aus. Leider ist es für hiesige Verhältnisse bitterkalt und es macht wenig Spass sich draussen herum zu treiben.

Blackout

I had a power failure in the kitchen and in my home office for five never ending days. I had to survive without telefone, internet and computer... The fridge/freezer just didn't melt away because of a 15 meters long extension cable - which was wriggeling across the flat - to energize it.

But now - power is back and blogging starts again.
