Back ...

... new years eve ...  we shot this look  in the kitchen before we left for the party ... sorry, the shots are  less glamorous and so blurry  ... blazer: h&m // golden belt: came with a vintage dress // vintage dress: thrifted // shoes: old vagabond // necklace: thrifted // earrings: from my mum

berlin thrift finds .... pink and red dresses from humana store, creme coloured dress from trash-schick (friedrichshain, wülischstr. 31) // pin up pictures, not thrifted // denim shorts from colours-kleidermarkt store in kreuzberg, bergmannstr.) // vintage boots from jumbo second hand (kreuzberg, wiener str. 63) ... not pictured: a black velvet skirt (has to get shortened) and a light black maxi skirt from humana too ...

finally i'm back from berlin ... my friends and i spent an amazing time there with loads of rock n roll music, beers, delicious (indian) food, cocktails, less sleep and thirft shopping! this city is far too great not to think about moving there ... but there's one reason to stay in a provincial city: thrift shopping!!! vintage and thrift stores are so expensive in berlin. even in charity shops like humana you have to spend much more money on the same things than in smaller cities. okokok,  you're right - the assortment of goods is so huge in berlin ... i haven't seen so much colourful dresses, skirts, tops and jackets from different decades in only one store for such a long time.

did you already went thrift shopping in 2012? tell me about your newest finds ...

wonderful black dress!

Ich wundere mich immer, wo du all deine schönen Second-Hand-Sachen her hast! Ich hätte gedacht, dass man da in kleineren Städten überhaupt nichts findet. (Ich finde jedenfalls immer nur überteuerte und/ oder uninteressante Sachen.)
Das schwarze Kleid ganz oben ist sehr schick!

Such a glamorous New Year's party outfit! Rowr!

It reminds me of the old rhyme "red and yellow, catch a fellow". Guess the color combination is an old favorite.

I know I've said this before, but you look just like Reese Witherspoon! I'm actually watching Cruel Intentions on TV at this very moment and I'm looking at you both lol. Your NYE look is so gorgeous!!!!

You're right about vintage being expensive in cities. There's nowhere for me to shop!
