vintage seagul blouse: flea market // 70s skirt: thrifted in the usa // belt: from istanbul // leather shoes: deichmann (super sale!!!) // 80s seagrass purse: flea market // 50s earrings: gifted ...
i bought this maritime inspired 70s-80s blouse on a flea market here in berlin last summer. for some strange reasons i thought, it would be too big for me. so it ended up in my flea market bag again ... as i went trough the bags of clothes for the big sell on past sunday i discovered it again ... now i'm totally in love with it.

How was the big sell? Hope it was successful!
So glad you gave that blouse another go, its wonderfully quirky and great for summer. x
So pretty! I really want to come to Berlin and do some retro shopping one day. I have a friend who lives there, can you do a post on some good places?
It's a good thing you discovered that blouse again, so pretty on you - I love the shoes!
Have a good weekend

Blouses, I find, more than any other garment, can be deceptive that way. I've encountered ones that looked like they'd be too big, end up being too small and vice versa, it's often to do with the cut and if it has much curve hugging seaming or not (the more it has, the better it's apt to fit me, I find).
That's a lovely, cheerful top and it's great that it was able to work out for you in the end.
