dear readers - I whish you a merry chistmas!

i shot this outfit before i left for my family's home... in early 2010 my mum handed this vintage fur jacket down to me. i wasn't sure if i would wear it... as being a vegitarian for about fifteen years i don't feel quite pc about wearing a mink!

i still remember, when my mum came back home from shopping with my granny... she was so confused and upset about this jacket (me too. i was 7 years old and an enthusiastic animal lover)! actually my mum would never had worn a mink because of non- ethical husbandry. 'i really never, never, NEVER wanted this fur!' my mum confirms a minute ago . my granny thought this jacket would be a very useful and fashionable item in her daughters denim-all-over-closet! mum still wonders about how my granny persuaded her to bring this fur home.

to cut a long story short... i thougth it would be fun to surprise my mum by wearing this mink on christmas. hehehe, she really was surprised.

we (mum & i) decided that those minks - who had to die for this jacket nearly 25 years ago - won't get back to live by tossing it away. ok, the mink is going to stay in my wardrobe but i definitly can't promise wearing it in public...

Till Summer

trying around with a long summer skirt, which doesn't look quite good worn as a skirt... vintage skirt: ebay, skirt worn as a dress // woolen coat: promod // belt: thrifted // leggins: h&m // vintage boots: mankii vintage // morocco vintage bag: fle market // earrings: schmuckrausch ... i didn't went out with this outfit at last, because i wasn't able to close the skirt. it fits perfectly on my petite waist, which is much smaller than my upper part of the body. hopefully i will find an invisble alternative to close this skirt/dress in the back till summertime.

zoo on my sofa

i don't like my old sofa from ikea very much... but there's no money to buy another. the worst thing about it is it's red colour. i thought about buying a new seat cover but i didn't saw a pleasing coloured cover at the shop. when i found a dark leopard fur fabric in the cellar again while i was boxing for the move, i suddenly decided to sew pillowcases of it. i thought it would look great with my old golden framed leopard fur and my vintage armchair which is covered with the same fur. some weeks ago i found some more spotted furry pillows... Now there's a little family of several cats of prey living on my red sofa... it's a good deal, i suppose .

DIY: Was Nicht Passt Wird Passend Gemacht

this could be my favourite dress for these cold cold days ... vintage dress: from my best friend's granny, modified // belt: scarf worn as a belt // boots: buffalo, modified // vintage bag/clutch: thrifted // necklace & pendant: flea market

the first time i wore this dress i liked it - but something wasn't working... it's collar made me look like a little girl at halloween, dressed up like a snow flake or an iceberg. also i wasn't able to wear a necklace or a scarf with this collar. when i came back home from work i suddenly decided to remove it. ... i love this dress that way. it looks very simple now but i m able to combine it with a lot of different scarfs. and you really need to wear a scarf these freezing days.

those buffalo boots were so expensive but i thougth these were so perfect... perfect?! not perfect. i knew they could be perfect without buckles. i defenitly hate buckles on boots anyway... when i removed them with edged sciccors i was in a cold sweat about ruin them... luckily everything went right. and now they're absolutly perfect.
