Office Girl ... Light Of The End Of The Tunnel

... on one of the warmer days last week i wore this to work ... vintage silk top: thrifted // vintage austrian trachten skirt: ebay // 60s bag: flea market (the bf found for me) // shoes: flea market // bangle: flea market ...

there are only a couple of weeks left till i finish work at my old work place ... there are plans for the future ... new city, finding a new job, finding new friends, trying to realize a dream ... and before that 4 weeks of holidays around seattle ... this summer will get very special to me. sadly, i'm still waiting for a nice summer!

That is a jam-packed, super exciting future for sure. I truly wish you all the best with everything, dear gal, and love knowing that you'll soon be jetting off to Seattle (which is just a few hours away from my corner of British Columbia).

Oh no!! I just remembered you asked me about vintage stores in Seattle, and it completely slipped my mind until now! I know you're a 50s loving gal, so I tried to focus on places that would have what you want.

For clothes:
1. My work, Lucky Vintage (there are 2 locations!)
2. Red Light (also 2 locations!)
3. Trove Vintage
4. Le Frock (they mostly do contemporary consignment, but their vintage is kind of hiding in a back corner, and it's worth looking!)

If you are into reproductions at all, I would look at Pretty Parlor & Diva Dollz, but if you want real stuff skip it.

For jewelry, Rhinestone Rosie is *definitely* worth a trip, *swoon*!

Hope that helps!
