Office Girl ... Job Interview

one day last week i went to my first job interview in the new city ... i tried to find a mix of 50s style and still looking professional ... cardi: primark // light peachy coloured dress: orsay (i bought this one to wear it on job interviews - 15€ on sale!) // belt: came with a top // vintage flats: thrifted // 40s bag: ebay ... today i wear the same because in a few minutes i leave the house to be interviewed again.

are you able to wear your vintage looks at work?

I always love your office wear outfits and it makes me wish I could wear vintage to work everyday.

I can't always wear vintage at work due to the nature of my job (and the fact that there is actually a uniform which I have managed to get away with not wearing....) But I do have some 50s dresses and separates which I do wear to work as they are smart enough for the workplace but inject some vintage style! I am keen to purchase more vintage workwear when I get a new job (one that doesn't have a uniform!)

Definitely wear vintage at work, especially interviews. .. my mum used to say I should dress in a professional business suit for interviews but when I wore my own clothes I got the job...you look very smart and crisp here. You will have no problems if you are yourself!

I always dress "normal" and wear my contacts for interviews, then once I get the job, I wear my glasses and dress in my usual style lol. You look beautiful and professional. Best of luck on the interviews! I hope you get a job you really like :)

I would love to wear vintage at work but unfortunately have to wear a very ugly uniform. (But I do thank that ugly work uniform when I come home covered in gross stuff!)Love your vintage work wear!

Hehe I'd hire you on the spot! That dress is my dream dress, I would love to have 10 dresses like this in different colors - seriously you own the BEST shirtwaist dresses I have ever seen.
Hope you got the job :)

I think it's best to show your prospective employer(s) a sense of who you are from the get-go, so I say opt for vintage whenever possible at interviews. This look is classic, classy and absolutely lovely - completely appropriate for a job interview.

Lovely outfit! I always wear my 60s suits and shift dresses to work, I do save my brighter outfits for outside of the office though. Wishing you luck with the interview! x

This is a lovely outfit. Being that I'm a housewife I can wear what I like while 'at work' which is nice :)
