Soft Plastic

... cardi: primark //  50s cotton skirt: made in berlin store // shoes: clarks // early 50s bag: ebay // vintage bangles: from several flea market and thrift stores // 50s soft plastic brooch: flea market ...

i found this black and white floral brooch a couple of weeks ago on a flea market in the middle/(south of germany. it was my first soft plastic piece i ever found on a flea market. it was pretty cheap for 2€, so i wasn't sad, when i found out that two of the flowers are missing. actually i'm not the biggest lover ofr soft plastic jewels, because most pieces i find are ear clips: huge, bold and super expensive. ... i really struggle with wearing big ear clips. they might look great on others - i look like an alien with them.
so i was super happy to have found a soft plastic brooch. it doesn't make me look like a being from outer space. it just makes me happy.
do you like soft plastic jewelery?

Ich habe ein paar Ohrclips, die farblich fast zu deiner Brosche passen...trag sie aber fast nie...aus Angst die Dinger kaputt zu machen :-)

Delightfully awesome brooch! I love its blend of cuteness, elegance, and mid-century kitsch (those being the hallmarks of most of the best vintage novelty brooches, IMO). Lovely find and great styling of your outfit to partner with it, dear gal.

Big hugs & happy Monday wishes,

I don't think I've ever had a piece of jewelry like that. I'm terrible with my jewelry, I'm sure it'd be in pieces before the day was over.
Love your hair like this, and the blue cardigan is dreamy on you.
