Nearly everything is prepared to leave on tuesday... This pants, those shoes and this blazer .... These pieces are comfy enough to come along with me to NY.

New York Vintage Shopping?!

The picture above shows my old NY t-shirt I bought there 6 years ago... .

In 8 days I'm going to visit NY again... Me and a friend are going to stay there for 5 days. Needless to say, we're really looking foward to go vintage shopping.

But we need your pleasent help and advice where to go to find bargains.... We do know beacon's closet near Bedford Ave in Brooklyn (and I looooove it) but there have to be more than 100s of amazing vintage/thrift/charity shops in NY. I remember a nice fleamarket in Greenpoint at the weekends (neer Bedford Station). Is it still there?! Are there any other fleamarkets between the 29th of September and the 4th of October?! Maybe you like to help us by writing down your favourite vintage shopping places in NY...

Yesterdays Experience ... Shirt From New York

Am gestrigen Mittwoch stand ich in Erwartung einer langen und wilden Tanz in den Mai-Schicht auf der Arbeit. Deswegen musste es schon tagsüber etwas bequemes sein... Also griff ich wieder zu meinen Boyfriendpants und alles war gut.

Das T-Shirt hab ich vor Jahren in New York auf einem brookliner Club-Flohmarkt erstanden. Es ist ein absolutes Unikat, denn das Entchen - ich vermute, dem Material nach, aus einer Bettwäsche stammend - ist mit glitzerndem schwarzen Glue auf den Stoff aufgebracht.

Ich habe es bestimmt 2 Jahre nicht mehr getragen, konnte es aber trotzdem nicht weggeben. Was ein Glück, denn die Freude war gross als ich es in meinem Schrank wieder entdeckte.

Heute gibts es kein Outfit, da mich das Arbeiten letzte Nacht so fertig gemacht hat, dass ich heute in meinem flauschigen weinroten Bademantel bleibe.
