Yes, I'm truly running out of headers but those cute little frog running over my sweater saved me from being with out a header the first time ... So they are actual header savers and not sweater savers.

You might have recognized that I barely take picture in the stairwell anymore ... On one hand, I got lazy and just took the Instagram routine on the blog pictures ... On the other hand, taking pictures out on the stairs got quite uncomfortable, because one of our neighbours is having a hard time with his mental health or drug abuse or both. He is building artsy sculptures out of his personal things in the stairwell. I don't want to take pictures in them or even want to get close to them. 

Hopefully I make it out there to take pictures once ion a while again ...

Little Red Hat ... From What Ever Era

Two weks ago I found this hat on the flea market. It was sold as a 50s hat. Originally it came with a huge feather decoration on teh pointy part. Sadly I had to remove it, because it got a little fuzzy over the years and made me look like a dead chicken was sitting on my head. And again, this hat is confusing to date. I can wear it two ways ... sometimes it looks more 40s-50s, then it looks almost as it was from the 30s ...

I was wathcing vintage bamboo brooches on Etsy for months ... all kind of pricey, all located in the US ... a few weeks ago I came across this little bamboo brooch on one of my favourite flea markets and spend 3€ on it ... instead of 25€+shipping and custom costs.

Pleats, Or Not To Pleats

I handwashed this dress today and I just rememberd that I had forgot to post this outfit ... What do you thin about the pleats? A friend bought the same dress in a different colour and removed the seams of the pleats ... I'm unsure if I should do the same or if I stick to the more unusual look ( I never wear pleats that open up under the hips.

I made a new experience the past few months ... people on the street started asking - especially when I'm out with my adorable vintage friend, who doesn't like to get pictured - what era we wear ... I'm for sure not a 'Miss Era Perfect', so I probably end up looking very 40s on the outside but wearing a different era under the coat ... so I never know what to answer those people. Mostly I - for sure make a funny face - and tell them that everything I wear is just *old*. I'm a vintage praline box.

The Leopard And The Toad

Some of you might know, that I like to call this skirt 'the toad'. I can't help it, when I look at this skirt I have to think of the skin of a slimy huge toad.  ...and what was I thinking to pair my leopard purse with the toad?! Strange mix but it works ...
