Hot Hot Heat

finally the summer heat arrived in germany, as you never know for how long, i decided to bike arround the city and to check out some forgotton vintage shops ... this is what i wore ... vintage square dance blouse: pony hütchen shop //  50s patio skirt: made in berlin // belt: from istanbul // sandals: jumex // 50s straw/leather purse: ebay // rose pendant, bracelet and earrings: flea markets ...

i talked to my granny on the phone right before i started working on the post. she is doing ok - but she feels weak and she doesn't drink enough water. probably this is the biggest problem right now ... not the cancer. ... maybe i will visit her in a few weeks.

have a lovely sunday!

It can be hard to drink enough water everyday; I have the same problem so I carry a water bottle around with me everywhere to remind me to drink!

Adore your white blouse, incidentally ~ the lace and collar are just stunning! And that ginormous purse looks fabulous for stowing away any special vintage finds. ; ) ♡

A perfect outfit for a summer cycling session! It is amazing how many elderly people suffer from dehydration and the terrible effects it has on a person. Hope she can try and drink more water - she will feel better from it, I promise! XXX

I do love this square dancing/patio style of dress, it's so cute and easy for the summer. I keep looking at skirts like that and passing them by, but I really might have to take the plunge sometime soon.
I hope your grandmother feels better soon. It's so rough when an elder loved one is in poor health, but I'm sure she's glad to have family helping her out.
